What is your digital footprint?
Digital footprint, by definition, is a trail of data you create while using the internet. For me, digital footprint basically is your identity or personality in the web. It is what describes who you really are over the net. It tells me what or how I am while using the internet. It shows me my “digital-self”.
My digital footprint is the set of platforms and programs I go into over the net. It encompasses the things that I often search for and look for in the web. It also depicts my personality, my hobbies, and my desires in life.
What do you want your digital footprint say about you?
As what I said, digital footprint is the one that defines your personality while using the internet. I want my digital footprint to describe me as a person who practices netiquette – proper behavior and/or use of the internet. I want it to say about me that I am a media and information literate individual.
Is a positive digital reputation important? Why?
As what I have been saying, digital footprint describes your being you while using the internet. If people would see that you’re doing it right, you’ll eventually gain a positive digital reputation. It is important because they would know that you’re a trusted person and that what you are credible for spreading legitimate information. They would have a positive impression of you.
